Acorn House. Handmade ceramic fairy house ornament
A small ceramic fairy house with a spotted acorn-cap roof, bark-textured walls, painted flowers, and a working chimney for incense or tealight use.
Acorn House sits squat and sturdy, its form borrowed from the forest floor. The lava-flecked clay gives the walls a rough, bark-like texture — the kind of surface that looks like it grew rather than was built. A working chimney rises from the roof, scaled just right for an incense cone to send slow curls of smoke drifting upward.
Place a tealight inside and the whole thing warms from within, light finding its way through every gap and opening. With an incense cone, those same gaps carry the smoke out in soft, wandering plumes — the chimney doing exactly what a chimney should.
The oxides and glazes are applied by hand, settling into the texture of the clay and deepening it. The result is something that looks entirely at home on a windowsill, a shelf, or tucked into a corner of a room that could use a little quiet magic.
